A Celebration of Life for Debbie
On Sunday, September 6th, family and friends gathered in Plano to remember Debbie — an afternoon of painting, food, and stories shared together.
Thank you to everyone who came, and to everyone who was with us in spirit. It meant more than we can say to remember Debbie surrounded by the people who loved her.
We spent the afternoon the way she would have wanted it: with watercolors on every table, something to eat, and time together. People who had never picked up a brush went home with something of their own — which was always the point.
The paint on the tables that afternoon was the same idea as her foundation, which puts watercolor into the hands of people in treatment. Give in her memory
